Doug Nidiffer – Chairman of the Board

Doug Nidiffer, the son of C&K Market, Inc. founders, Ray and June Nidiffer, grew up in the family business and today serves as the Chairman of the Board advising the company on future growth strategies. After graduating from Oregon State University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Doug returned to Brookings and the company. He served in many roles of C&K's operations, becoming Vice President in 1980. After Ray's retirement in 1997, Doug became the company's President & Chief Executive Officer, a post he held until May of 2012.


Gregory L. Sandeno – President & Chief Executive Officer

With a total of over 30 years of retail experience, Greg joined the C&K Market team in 2005 as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was named President and Chief Executive Officer in May of 2012, just the third to hold this position in the company, and currently oversees all company operations, initiatives and strategies. Starting his career at age 15, Greg first worked for a Spokane, WA area independent grocery store, eventually becoming a store manager at the age of 18. After college, he went on to spend 20 years at Fred Meyer/Kroger holding several leadership positions including his final post as VP of Operations. Before coming to C&K, Greg was part of the leadership team at Midwest wholesaler Nash Finch, starting as VP of Operations before moving into the role of Group VP of Retail Operations & Senior Vice President of Retail.

Alan Nidiffer – Executive Vice President

As part of the founding Nidiffer family, Alan grew up in the company holding various positions both at the store level and the corporate office while growing up in Brookings, Oregon. Beginning at the age of 15, Alan worked at the Brookings Ray's, first as a courtesy clerk, working his way up to person-in-charge before departing for Oregon State University. Alan stayed connected to C&K, spending summers working at the Brookings store as head of the night crew.

After graduating from Oregon State University with a degree in Management Information Systems, Alan joined Willamette Industries as an IT staff programmer. Rising to a Senior IT Analyst, Alan left Willamette Industries in 2005 to rejoin the family business at C&K. In 2007, Alan took over the IT department as Chief Information Officer and spear-headed company modernization efforts.

In 2012, Alan was named head of perishables, overseeing all produce, deli, bakery and meat operations.  In addition to his daily duties, Alan serves as a member of C&K's Board of Directors, Secretary/Treasurer of the company and as an advisor to the Ray's Charitable Foundation Board. He also serves on the board of directors for the National Grocery Association.

Rocky Campbell – Vice President, Operations

Taking over the operational reigns from Greg Sandeno in May of 2012, Rocky will oversee all store operations and loss prevention activities as the Vice President of Operations. Rocky started his career with C&K Market sorting bottles at the Central Point, OR Ray’s Food Place in 1981. Working his way through the various store level positions at several locations in the southern Oregon area, Rocky first became a store manager at the Weed, CA location in 1990. After other manager posts at the Phoenix, OR and Medford, OR Ray’s, Rocky was elevated to the role of District Manager for the Valley, Northern California and Southern Oregon. While the company expanded, Rocky also served as District Manager for Northern California and the Southern Oregon Coast areas. He joined the Brookings home office team in the newly created role of Director of Loss Prevention, where he developed C&K’s loss prevention program. In the winter of 2011, Rocky added the role of Senior Director of Operations to his responsibilities, overseeing all district managers and store level execution initiatives.

Terry Spencer – Vice President, Merchandising & Marketing

Named Vice President of Merchandising and Marketing in May of 2012, Terry assumes a new role to C&K, overseeing all category management, merchandising and marketing activities for the company. A butcher at heart, Terry started within the retail industry in 1976 in a small meat packing plant in Grant’s Pass, OR. Part of the C&K team earlier in his career as well, he joined the company for the second time in 1981 as a meat cutter in the Phoenix, OR location. Terry spent time in several C&K meat departments around the company, including working for Ray Nidiffer at the original Brookings, OR location. He worked his way up to the meat manager at the Rogue River Ray’s Food Place, before becoming the companywide Director of Meat. In 2008, Terry was elevated to the Senior Director of Perishables overseeing all meat, produce, floral, bakery & deli buying and initiatives.

Becky Olsen - Vice President, Finance

Becky came to C&K Market in 2000 as a CPA from Musser & Associates. Initially Becky was employed as a corporate accountant and now, as Vice President/Finance, her responsibilities will expand to supervision of the entire accounting department, oversight of the financial statements and lender liaison. While working in public accounting, Becky was exposed to many different business models, which helps her see C&K's operations from various points of view. Becky grew up shopping at Ray's #1 in Brookings, the birth place of C&K Market, and is thrilled to be able work for a company that places so much emphasis on supporting its employees and communities. Becky holds a BS from Lewis and Clark College, Portland, OR and an MBA from the University of Oregon. She also belongs to the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jimmy Martini - Vice President, Controller

Jimmy has more than 15 years of retail experience and oversees strategic growth real estate/facilities development and treasury management for C & K Market. Jimmy joined C&K in 2000 as part of a four store acquisition, where he was the senior accountant. Since then he has been instrumental in helping C&K acquire more than 25 locations. During his tenure at C&K Jimmy has worked in many areas across the company with an emphasis in treasury, finance, lease management and strategic growth. Jimmy has an accounting degree from the University of Oregon and enjoys supporting his alma mater. He resides in Brookings with his wife and two children.

Kate Wilkinson - Vice President, Human Resources & General Counsel

Kate joined the company in 2010 after spending many years as a private practice attorney in Eugene, Oregon. She also taught at the University of Oregon Law School as an adjunct Professor and currently serves as a member of the Oregon Workforce Investment Board. Since joining C&K, Kate has led our human resources team and served as corporate counsel. Kate is excited about the new challenges and "is honored to work with so many great, hard-working people."
